Build a solid foundation with our Basic Electricity training course. Explore fundamental principles, essential concepts, and practical applications for a successful start in the utility industry. Instructor-led on-site or web-based course designed to teach the basics of electric circuits and how they relate to electric power systems as well as everyday use of electricity. From atomic theory and Ohm's Law to three-phase and reactive power, you'll explore how electricity works and how each subject relates to the electric power industry. Multiple exams will measure your understanding of subjects and identify areas needed for review. A final test is administered for a Certificate of Course Completion.
